How It Works

Cetaphil Gentle Exfoliating SA Cleanser combines low-strength beta-hydroxy acid (salicylic acid) with a nourishing surfactant base. As you massage the translucent gel onto damp skin, it transforms into a soft lather that lifts away daily surface debris. Simultaneously, the salicylic acid breaks down the intercellular “glue” holding dead cells together on the surface and inside pores, promoting cellular turnover and clearing congestion. Directions for Use

Dampen your face and neck with water. Dispense a coin-sized amount of the cleanser onto your palm and work into a gentle lather. Massage onto your skin in circular motions for 30 to 60 seconds, paying special attention to rough patches or congestion-prone areas while avoiding the direct eye area. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry with a soft towel. Use once daily to start, gradually increasing to twice daily if well tolerated.
