How to Use & Enjoy (Traditional Usucha Preparation)

Sift: Sift 1 to 2 bamboo scoops (approx. 1 to 2 grams) of matcha powder into a dry bowl (chawan) to prevent clumping.
Add Water: Pour about 60ml to 70ml of hot water (ideally around 75°C to 80°C / 165°F to 175°F—just below boiling) into the bowl.
Whisk: Using a traditional bamboo whisk (chasen), vigorously whisk in a zig-zag “W” or “M” motion until the powder is fully dissolved and a rich, creamy froth forms on top. Sip and enjoy!
